Tanner Beck is originally from Garner, NC. He moved to Myrtle Beach at the age of 11, and picked up the guitar that same year. Having deep roots in American music, Tanner draws inspiration from a diverse array of genres including blues, country, rock, jazz and funk. At age 14 he would make his way into bars around the beach. The bars and the clubs would soon become stages. It’s here where Tanner became a standout guitarist, eventually culminating in the opportunity to tour across the United States. Tanner has played all over the southeast and as far as Las Vegas for the past decade. He has opened up for amazing artists such as Clint Black, Ronnie Milsap and Tracy Lawrence. Nowadays, between traveling for music and playing at Alabama Theatre,Tanner spends his time sharing his guitar knowledge with the community. Working as a guitar instructor, Tanner shares his guitar know-how with students aging from 5 to 85. Tanner is honored to be a part of Alabama Theatre's ICONIC.
