Shawn Pittman


Shawn is a self-taught violin virtuoso who is a product of the Ozark Mountains. His career started at the ago of 11 when he was hired by Silver Dollar City to play the fiddle and mandolinfor its Bluegrass Festival. Shawn continued playing at Silver Dollar City for the next ten years.

Shawn's remarkable and expansive musical career includes performing at The Main Street Opry  at The Lake of The Ozarks, The Carolina Opry, as well as for George W. Bush. 

Shawn returned to Branson, Missouri to play with Moe Bandy for the next ten years before accepting an offer to join Roy Clark and his band. He toured with Roy several years until Mr. Clark passed away. Returning once again to Branson, Shawn joined with James Garrett in the multi-award winning John Denver Tribute for twelve years playing fiddle, mandolin and hammer dulcimer. Shawn also emerged as an outstanding comedian with his credible "hillbilly" persona.

Shawn will dazzle you with all genres of music. He is also highly proficient on the acoustic and eletric guitar and has won mulitple awards.
