Dusty Giamanco

Dusty Giamanco is a New York City accomplished dancer that hails from down south in Jonesville, Louisiana. His mother, Patricia Clepper, his first dance teacher, basically raised him in her dance studio, so his passion for dance runs deep. Clogging was the main focus of his mom’s studio, and after winning two national clog champion titles, Dusty was hired by choreographer Jean Whittaker, right out of high school to begin his dance career as a performer for Gaylord Entertainment. He went on to perform in many of their shows in theaters at theme parks such as Opryland USA, and Fiesta Texas, as well as performing for them on The General Jackson Showboat as well as cruise ships for “Celebrity Cruise Lines”. He also performed in “One” The Show at the Alabama Theater for awhile before heading to New York City in pursuit of his performance dream. He performed in the Off-Broadway show “Fuerza Bruta” for 6 years in NYC, Seoul, Korea, Taiwan, Puerto Rico and Miami, and became captain of that show for the last two years. In that time he had the honor of teaching and performing with Pop Music Artist Usher Raymond when Usher wanted to perform in “Fuerza Bruta” as well. Also, while performing in “Fuerza Bruta,” he performed the male dance solo before many audiences including stars such as Beyonce, Jay Z and Justin Beiber just to name a few. In his time in NYC he also had the honor of performing as a dancer/acrobat at the Metropolitan Opera for five years in “Damnation of Faust,” “Das Reingold,” and “Gutterdammerung.” Dusty has always been thankful for where the good Lord has lead him in his career, and he is very thankful to be back performing for Mrs. Jean and the Alabama Theater! “It feels like coming home!”
