Dita Sartain is originally from Washington, DC where she trained at the Washington Ballet under the direction of Mary Day. She performed in Septime Webre’s rendition of The Nutcracker and many of the performances included noteable venues such as the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. She is a graduate from Oklahoma City University with a bachelors degree in dance performance. After graduation, Dita went on to perform with Kings Dominion Theme Park in Richmond, VA as a featured dancer. She then performed with Cirque du Soleil as a promotional dancer in Washington, DC and New York City. Dita has also been seen in Centenary Stage Company’s “Wizard of Oz” in Hackettstown, New Jersey and Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma’s “Les Miserables” in Oklahoma City. Dita is thrilled to be joining the cast at Alabama Theatre! She would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support.
