Brayan Gomez

Brayan Gomez has been dancing since he was 10 years old. He continues to train and teach in all forms of dance but especially enjoys contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre and jazz. He has received several dance scholarships from top dance conventions and was accepted into the Shannon Mathers MDC conservatory program. Brayan has worked with LA based professionals and was recognized as a finalist for the title of “Male Best Dancer” and “Best Dancer” for the East coast in 2018. He choreographed for the winner of the “Miss Myrtle Beach” pageant and numerous musicals. After moving to the West coast to further his training he was soon working on reality film projects and trained with the contemporary dance company “Academy of Villains”. While living on the West coast he assisted notable choreographers and was asked to work on dance projects with Tyce Diorio and Nathan Trasoras. Now, he has returned home to choreograph and teach around Myrtle Beach. Brayan loves teaching the art of movement and how it’s used for art, storytelling and the expression of emotions. He can’t wait to perform and express his love of dance on the Alabama Theatre stage.
